Karen’s initial reason for coming to 21st Century was constant moderate pain in her right forearm.  Karen says “the pain appeared gradually over a 6-month period.  It prevented me from sleeping at night and it was necessary to take prescription medication to get relief.  Approximately three years ago I had surgery and immediately after the surgery, I began experiencing muscle aches and joint stiffness throughout my body. Aysegul was unable to use her left arm.  She was told by her previous chiropractor she needed lots of exercise to heal her arm.  Aysegul says “I was in a great deal of pain.  I was unable to do my studies, couldn’t do any homework, couldn’t study for more then 15 minutes at a time, etc.  For about 10 weeks my left arm was totally disabled from the shoulder.  I had developed a form of frozen shoulder due to some nerve injuries.  I started my therapy at Dr. Helwig’s office on Dec. 12, 2008 and by Jan. 16, 2009 I was 90% pain free, my life turned back to normal, my shoulder range of motion improved greatly.  The doctors and the physical therapist teamed up to coordinate a unique therapy for my shoulder that made a huge difference.  The office is very impressive they have the latest technology.  Everybody on staff participates in a conflict-free, highly efficient & productive teamwork, and to top it off they are all good and decent people giving 110% care and attention to make a difference.   Aysegul Yenice
